Brother Gus of St Cassian's, Kintbury was one of West Berkshire Homeless's first and most fervent supporters, working tirelessly to raise both the awareness of and funds for our work with the homeless. A passionate believer that we are all God's children and have the right to the basic essentials in life - food, accommodation, warmth and friendship - Brother Gus will always be an inspiration to all who worked with and knew him.
To our Business Volunteers that come to us regularly to volunteer or help us to continue to do good work for the homeless
(without these our Charity wouldn’t be able to function)
and
to our Churches Together, as well as all our other supporters, prayers and donations.
We are also very grateful to two anonymous donors who have given the Charity large sums of money
to continue to change lives of those who are rough sleeping and homeless.
Simon Pearson continues to support WBH with the progression of the half-way house, covering the utility bills and looking after the general maintenance and fire safety for both the house and the flat. Simon's delightful wife is also very supportive and works with clients to give them confidence in moving forward.
