Dear supporters and volunteers

We thought it was time to have an update as we are aware we have been a bit quiet lately.  The reason for our quietness is that it has been very busy.  We have been giving emergency support for food, heating and electric whilst other avenues are being sought to give a more permanent solution.  With 18 individuals homeless in the Newbury area at the current time and over 30 individuals sofa surfing, we  are also supporting those who are able to find sofas to sleep on at friends by providing funds for gas/electric/food to the host. 

It has indeed been a very busy winter with our outgoings running between £5k and £6k every month. With this amount of outgoings we are looking to fundraise and we are very grateful to have a new volunteer who is applying for grants to assist us in maintaining income levels to support those in need. 

We also have fundraising events planned and we will be looking for volunteers to help and people to come along and join in the fun so please add the events info to your diaries! CLICK BELOW.
